Our Story

I am so glad you are here! My name is Emily, and together with my husband Chris, three kids and a team of amazing women we run this little western Colorado shop, The Barn Boutique Fruita. This started by selling amazing clothes – but let’s be real. It’s now about impacting women, families and our community! The clothes are our vehicle (and you won’t find anything else out there as comfortable, versatile, and made for ALL sizes), but the road in which we travel is about confidence, vulnerability, showing up for one another, being BRAVE and living each day with purpose and kindness.

I talk about loving our bodies, I share ideas for styling different frames, and most importantly I pray about transformation on the INSIDE so we can truly love ourselves. I am always looking for more women to join us in our online community dubbed the tribe, finding organizations we can highlight and share proceeds with, and in particular women in a walk of life that need an extra friend and an extra boost.
